Sunday School

Fix these words of mine in your hearts and minds; tie them as symbols on your hands and bind them on your foreheads.  Teach them to your children, talking about them when you sit at home and when you walk along the road, when you lie down and when you get up.  (Deuteronomy 11: 18-19)

Children are an important part of our ministry at Abiding Savior and we offer many opportunities for them to learn about their Savior, Jesus.

Regular attendance at Sunday School, along with home devotions and family Bible study, will help ensure that the youth of our congregation grow strong in their faith and their love for the Lord.  Sunday School for children from pre-school through 6th grade meets weekly from Labor Day to Memorial Day at 8:45 am, before the weekly Sunday morning worship service.

Sunday School instruction includes:

  • Old Testament Bible lessons
  • New Testament Bible lessons
  • Devotions and prayers
  • Crafts and activities
  • Hymns and songs

The Sunday School children also take part in the annual Christmas childrens' service as well as singing God's praises several times a year during Sunday morning worship.
