Adult Fellowship
The Adult Fellowship group’s purpose is to establish friendships and fellowship among our adult members, and to help with various church ministry needs, such as coordinating food, helpers, and ushers for funerals; visiting shut-in members; mentoring new church members; and sending cards to church members who are ill, have a new baby, or have recently lost a loved one. Two organizational meetings are held each year, one in March and one in September. Monthly fellowship activities are held on either the first or second weekends of most months. All events are suggested and coordinated by our members. Some of our events have included going to plays at different theatres, winery trips, river cruises, apple orchard visits, mystery dinners, and game days. We are always looking forward to more people joining our activities and searching for new ideas and ways to serve our Lord and church!
Choir
The choir at Abiding Savior exists to enhance worship services, assist the congregation in learning new songs, and to praise our Lord. We hold practices from September through April on the second and fourth Tuesday of each month. We sing approximately twenty times during the year. The choir also organizes the December caroling days, when we invite the whole congregation to go with us to shut-in members’ homes and to Guardian Angel’s Care Center to sing carols with the residents. God has graciously blessed our choir with many talented people and many memorable times throughout the more than 30 years that we have been together. We look forward to many more years of working together and singing praises to our awesome God!
